How It Works:
At Taekwon-Do Rising Champions, we have designed our programme to cater specifically to the needs and development of children aged 4 to 8. Here's how it works:
Training Sessions:
Our training sessions are held every Tuesday, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. During these sessions, our expert instructors lead engaging and dynamic classes aimed at building fundamental Taekwon-Do skills while fostering a love for martial arts.
Progression:
As children progress and demonstrate readiness for more advanced training, they may be invited to join our 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM class. This class offers more intensive training and focuses on further refining techniques and preparing students for competitions and higher belt levels.
Our grading system consists of several levels, each represented by a coloured T-shirt, symbolising important aspects of Taekwon-Do philosophy and practice:
Yellow Level: Showing courtesy and mastering basic exercises, movement, and stances.
Green Level: Demonstrating integrity while learning basic kicks, blocks, and punches.
Blue Level: Exemplifying perseverance with basic jumping techniques and four-direction punch.
Red Level: Displaying self-control learning four-direction block and basic sparring.
Black Level: Embodying indomitable spirit by demonstrating proficiency in all levels and techniques.
Future Champions:
In our Future Champions programme, participants are encouraged to wear exclusive Taekwon-Do Leicester T-shirts and Martial Arts bottoms. These special attire items symbolise their dedication to the art and their journey towards mastery. Wearing these exclusive shirts enhances the sense of belonging within our Taekwon-Do community and fosters a spirit of camaraderie among our students.
